Spiritual Husband and Spiritual Wife Deliverance: Breaking the Power of Spiritual Husband and Spiritual Wife

A Pentecostal Teaching & Deliverance Prayer

Introduction: Understanding the Battle in the Spirit
The Bible declares in Ephesians 6:12:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world…”
There are battles that are not physical—yet they affect marriages, destinies, finances, and spiritual growth. One of the most misunderstood spiritual battles is the oppression associated with what is commonly referred to as spiritual husband or spiritual wife.
This teaching is not about fear—it is about freedom in Christ Jesus.

What Is a Spiritual Husband or Spiritual Wife?
In Pentecostal and deliverance ministry language, these terms describe demonic covenants or spiritual attachments that:
Claim authority over a person’s life or body
Interfere with godly relationships and marriage
Manifest through dreams, repeated patterns, or oppression
Attempt to substitute God’s divine order with spiritual bondage
These are not literal spouses—but spiritual strongholds rooted in covenants, trauma, sin, or ancestral doors.

 Possible Signs of Spiritual Oppression
While discernment is needed, some patterns include:
Repeated dreams of intimacy with unknown persons
Difficulty maintaining relationships or marriages
Unexplained delay in marriage
Strong emotional or sexual oppression in the night
Sudden hatred or conflict in relationships
Feeling “claimed” or spiritually tied

Not every struggle is demonic—but persistent, patterned oppression requires spiritual attention.
 Biblical Foundation for Deliverance
Jesus came to set captives free. In Luke 4:18:
“He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the captives…”
And in John 8:36:
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
Deliverance is not optional—it is part of the believer’s inheritance.

Open Doors That May Allow Spiritual Bondage
Spiritual attachments often gain access through:
Sexual sin or ungodly soul ties
Occult involvement or ancestral covenants
Trauma, abuse, or emotional wounds
Pornography or immoral exposure
Dedications or rituals (knowingly or unknowingly)
But hear this: What was opened can be closed by the blood of Jesus.
Steps to Freedom and Deliverance

1. Repentance
Confess all known and unknown sins.
2. Renunciation
Verbally reject every ungodly covenant.
3. Breaking Soul Ties
Sever every connection not ordained by God.
4. Spiritual Authority
Stand in your identity in Christ.
5. Infilling of the Holy Spirit
Replace oppression with God’s presence.

 Powerful Deliverance Prayer
(Pray aloud with authority)
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
Father, I come before You by the blood of Jesus.
I repent of every sin—known and unknown—
Every open door, every ungodly covenant, every agreement with darkness.
Lord, have mercy on me.
Today, I renounce every spiritual husband and every spiritual wife
Operating in my life, my body, my dreams, and my destiny.
I declare:
You have no legal right over me!
By the authority of Jesus Christ,
I break every covenant—ancestral, sexual, spiritual—
In the name of Jesus!
I command every spirit attached to my life:
Loose your hold now! Come out and leave me!
Every spirit spouse—
I divorce you by fire!
I disconnect from you by the blood of Jesus!
Every ring, every mark, every spiritual transaction—
Be destroyed by Holy Ghost fire!
Holy Spirit, fill every place that was occupied.
Restore my destiny. Restore my relationships. Restore my peace.
I declare:
I belong to Jesus Christ alone.
My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
My future is secured in God.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen!

Prophetic Declarations
I am free from every spiritual bondage
I walk in purity, authority, and power
No demonic covenant can stand against me
My marriage and destiny are restored
What God has ordained, no devil can stop

Final Encouragement
Deliverance is not just a moment—it is a lifestyle of:
Prayer
Holiness
The Word of God
Fellowship with the Holy Spirit
Stay rooted in Christ, and the enemy will have no foothold
