Sacred Trust & Spiritual Oversight
Pastoral care within Jesus Calls World Outreach Ministries is a sacred ministry of spiritual oversight, counsel, and shepherding.
Scripture teaches:
“A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.”

We recognize that those who seek pastoral guidance often share deeply personal and spiritual concerns. Such matters are treated with prayerful discretion and pastoral integrity.
Nature of Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral counseling provided by this ministry is:
• Spiritual guidance rooted in Scripture
• Biblical instruction and exhortation
• Prayer-based counsel
• Ecclesiastical oversight
• Religious instruction under church authority
Pastoral care is not professional psychological counseling, clinical therapy, psychiatric treatment, or medical advice.
All guidance is religious in nature and grounded in biblical doctrine.
Ecclesiastical Authority
Jesus Calls World Outreach Ministries operates as a church under the protections of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution and applicable state law governing religious institutions.
Pastoral counseling is provided under ecclesiastical authority and church governance. It is considered a religious function and an extension of spiritual leadership.
Participation in pastoral care constitutes voluntary engagement in a religious activity.
Confidentiality Guidelines
Conversations shared in pastoral sessions are held in confidence with the following understandings:
Confidentiality is maintained except when:
• There is a credible threat of harm to oneself or others
• Abuse or neglect is disclosed in situations requiring mandatory reporting under law
• Disclosure is required by legal obligation
• Limited pastoral consultation within church leadership is necessary for spiritual oversight
Voluntary Participation
By requesting pastoral counseling, individuals acknowledge:
• Sessions are religious and spiritual in nature
• Counsel will be based upon Scripture and church doctrine
• The Church does not provide medical or psychological diagnosis
• Participation is voluntary

Pastoral care exists to restore, encourage, and strengthen believers in faith.
